1. General

These general terms and conditions apply when purchasing goods from Medaljmäster AB (“Medaljmäster”, “we”, “us”) via our online store. The terms and conditions apply to the extent that they do not otherwise follow from mandatory legislation, primarily the Consumer Sales Act (2022:260) and the Distance Contracts Act (2005:59).

2. Warranty

When purchasing from Medaljmäster AB, a one (1) year warranty is provided , calculated from the date of delivery, unless otherwise expressly stated. The warranty covers original manufacturing and material defects that existed at the time of delivery.

The warranty applies provided that the product is used in accordance with its intended purpose and in accordance with any care and usage instructions.

For products that are fully or partially manufactured, assembled or adapted by Medaljmäster AB – including but not limited to assembly, certain medals and accessories – we assess that the products normally have a durability that exceeds the warranty period. However, this does not mean an extension of the stated warranty period.

The warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from:

• Normal wear and tear or aging

• Careless, incorrect or abnormal use

• Lack of maintenance or deviation from care instructions

• External influences, accidents, moisture, heat or chemicals

• Changes or interventions carried out by the customer or third parties

In the event of a valid warranty claim, Medaljmäster AB reserves the right, at its own discretion, to remedy the defect, replace the product or refund the purchase price .

The guarantee applies in addition to and without limitation to the consumer's statutory rights .

3. Complaints

Any external damage to the shipment must be reported to the carrier immediately upon collection .

If the customer discovers upon unpacking that the product, assembly or installation is damaged or incorrect, a complaint must be made without delay by contacting Medaljmäster AB via telephone or email:

After receiving a complaint, Medaljmäster AB will provide instructions on how to return the product. Returns may not be made without prior contact.

If the complaint is approved, Medaljmäster AB is responsible for the return shipping cost . Items sent cash on delivery or cash on delivery will not be processed.

Medaljmäster AB follows the recommendations of the Swedish National Board of Complaints (ARN) in the event of any dispute.

4. Refund in case of complaint

If the purchase is cancelled after an approved complaint, a refund will be made within fourteen (14) days from the day Medaljmäster AB receives the complaint notification.

If Medaljmäster AB instead carries out a redelivery or remedy the defect , any shipping costs will be refunded within fourteen (14) days of receipt of the claimed item.

Refunds are made using the same payment method as the purchase , unless otherwise agreed.

5. Right of withdrawal and open purchase

5.1 Customized products

Products that constitute montages, engraved items or other specially ordered goods are manufactured according to the customer's specifications and are not subject to the right of withdrawal, open purchase or exchange .

In some cases, installation can be changed afterwards at a reasonable cost , by agreement.

5.2 Standard products

For other products purchased in the online store, there is a thirty (30) day right of withdrawal and open purchase , calculated from the day the customer collects the shipment.

The product must be returned in substantially unchanged condition , which means unused, intact and clean. If the product has been handled to a greater extent than necessary to determine its properties, Medaljmäster AB has the right to make a deduction for loss of value .

All associated packaging, boxes and accessories must be returned in substantially unchanged condition.

6. Returns and shipping responsibility

When exercising the right of withdrawal, the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost , corresponding to the shipping method used for delivery from Medaljmäster AB.

The customer is also responsible for the transport risk when returning and it is therefore recommended to use traceable and insured shipping.

Returns are sent to the return address provided by Medaljmäster AB upon contact.

7. Refund upon return

After the return has been received and approved, a refund will be made within five (5) banking days. Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase.
