Full size medals are the official version of an award. They are worn in formal contexts with formal attire such as a tailcoat or full dress.

Medals are traditionally worn in a straight mount by men and in a ladies mount by women. Women in uniform should generally wear them in a straight mount.

If you have received more than one medal, you should assemble them into a composite montage. Wearing several individual medals is not considered good practice.
